Pack your tiny tent and head to the Fairy Camping Village — a whole fairy campsite, built entirely by hand and full of wonderful details at every turn.
The centrepiece is an A-frame reception building with "Reception" painted above the door and colourful striped details. To one side sits the fairy toilet block — because even fairies need facilities — with "Fairy Toilets" and "Pixie" signage. A ladder leads up to the main building, while below the platform, rounded camping dome shelters nestle against the earth, each with its own little door. The whole site sits on a generous wooden deck platform, with steps leading up at either end.
This is a storytelling piece of the highest order. It's the kind of thing children play with for hours, inventing arrivals and departures, making up stories about which fairy is camping where. It also works brilliantly as a display piece at a festival, camping shop or outdoor education centre.
