Spalted beech is remarkable material: the dark feathering left by fungal action traces its own map through pale grain, so no two tops are ever the same. The driftwood legs bring the same logic in a different form — salt-bleached, weathered, shaped by whatever the sea decided. The whole piece is small enough to slot in almost anywhere: beside the bed, as a plant stand, a reading nook shelf, or simply a spot to put things within reach. One version features a slate strip down the middle — if you'd prefer that style, just mention it when you order.
