A four-poster canopy bed combining solid oak with coastal driftwood — arched spindles, a full canopy frame, and the kind of handcraft that earns its place as the centrepiece of a room.
The structural uprights and canopy frame are built from solid oak — dense, straight-grained, and sourced for quality. The driftwood elements bring a different kind of character: organic in form, shaped by sea and weather, and selected piece by piece from the coastline near our workshop. Where the oak provides structure and precision, the driftwood provides story. Together they make something that neither material could manage alone. The curved and arched spindles that run between the posts and canopy frame soften the geometry of the whole piece — this is a four-poster with the bones of a traditional design and the spirit of something wilder.
The entire frame is finished with a high-quality natural oil that nourishes both the oak and the driftwood and lets the grain and surface texture show clearly. The canopy is designed to take fabric — curtains, a drape, a linen voile — or to be left open entirely.

Your Version
We can adapt the canopy height, post design, spindle style, or the balance between oak and driftwood to suit your space. Some customers opt for additional carving on the oak uprights; others prefer the posts left clean. We can also add under-bed storage drawers or fit the canopy for specific fabric weights.
