A hand-carved school lectern with a pair of owls carved into the front — a reading stand for assemblies, story time and library corners that children actually look at. Built in solid timber in our Mid Wales workshop and mounted on a sturdy wheeled base so one teacher can move it between hall, classroom and outdoor reading area.
The owl duo is carved by hand, so each lectern is slightly different, and the design can be swapped for your school's own emblem, a different animal or a name carved into the top.

Tell us the height you need, the design you'd like on the front and whether it lives indoors or out, and we'll draw it up before we cut anything.
How ordering works
- We agree a design and send you a drawing to approve
- A 50% deposit confirms your place in the workshop queue
- We build it — most pieces take 4–8 weeks, and we'll give you a date when we quote
- You get photographs before dispatch, then the balance is due
- Delivery anywhere in the UK — larger pieces come kerbside on a pallet. Prices include VAT. Schools and councils can order on a purchase order.
