Step right up — the fairy fairground has come to town. Our Helter Skelter Fairy Village is a showstopping multi-story tower that towers above the rest of the fairy garden, packed with details on every level.
The ground floor barn and outbuildings set the scene, with painted signs, arched doors and little porthole windows. Above that, a gallery level with railings and a ladder leads to the main tower with its fairground helter skelter top. Fairy figures perch on the upper railings, surveying the view. It's the kind of piece that children will spend hours exploring with their imagination.
This is one of the largest and most ambitious pieces we build. The construction is solid — built from reclaimed and new timber in our Mid Wales workshop — and every surface is hand-painted with the warm, slightly weathered palette of an old-fashioned travelling fair.
This piece would be equally at home as a permanent garden installation or as an indoor display in a hallway or playroom. Bespoke commissions on a similar fairground theme are always welcome.
