Every colour of the rainbow finds its place on the Patchwork Fairy House — a joyful, exuberant cottage that looks like it was made from all the best leftover pieces in the workshop.
The roof is a mosaic of individually painted tiles in blue, green, pink and grey, with a sunburst detail above the entrance. The main body is painted in warm terracotta pink, with a bright yellow-framed window and a green arched door. Pink triangular details frame the walls, and the whole piece has an "Important — Do Not Pass This Box Without Looking In" sign — a charming detail that rewards those who stop and look closely.
This piece has a wonderfully handmade, slightly eccentric quality to it — the kind of fairy house that feels like it has a whole backstory. It's designed to be mounted on a fence post or exterior wall, bringing colour and character to any outdoor space.
