Part fairy house, part village market — this is one of the most characterful pieces we've ever built. The Wild Flower Fairy House is a pyramid-shaped structure topped with a hand-carved wooden daisy, its petals fanning out in crisp white against a vibrant green. But what really makes this piece sing is the attached market stall.
Beneath a red and white striped awning, the stall is stocked for the autumn season — "Autumn Berries, Nuts and Preserves for Sale" reads the sign, with tiny hand-painted jars of sloe gin and preserves lined up on the shelves. On the other side, a "Spring Flower Fairy" sign marks the front entrance, with butterflies and woodland creatures hand-painted onto the walls.
This is storytelling in wood. It sparks imagination in children and brings a smile to every adult who looks closely enough to spot all the details. Built from solid wood in our Mid Wales workshop and painted entirely by hand.
