Nestled into the rolling green hills of Mid-Wales, we take our inspiration from the natural world around us.
Our furniture, composting toilets and even urine separators are all hand-crafted from scratch in our small workshop on Glandyfi Farm, on the edge of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park.
Glandyfi means ‘on the banks of the River Dyfi’ and you couldn’t ask for a more beautiful place to work.
The mountains, forests, rivers and estuary of the Dyfi Valley is where we derive our creation; this is where we practice our art.

Although our team and premises have grown from humble beginnings, each piece that we make is still carefully constructed by our small team of skilled craftspeople. Their attention to detail, from selecting the perfect materials to finishing every creation with the utmost care, is what makes Free Range Designs so special.
