Hand-carved children's chairs in driftwood and reclaimed timber — made from offcuts of our larger furniture, each one completely unique, and built to the same standard as anything else that leaves the workshop.
These chairs come from a simple idea: the off-cuts and driftwood left over from building our larger pieces are too good to waste. Each one has already proved itself — it carried the grain and character that caught our eye when we selected the timber for something bigger, and now it becomes a child's chair in its own right. The results are chairs that look like no other children's furniture because they couldn't be replicated anywhere else. Branch forms, irregular grain, the natural curve of driftwood: these chairs are shaped by what the material offers rather than what a catalogue demands.
Built with the same solid hand-built joinery as all our furniture, sanded smooth, and finished to be safe and comfortable for daily use. These work beautifully in children's bedrooms, crèches, nurseries, primary schools, art rooms, and anywhere that the surroundings are expected to do some of the work. Matching tables can be made to order.

Your Version
Kiddies chairs can be made to a specific seat height for a particular age group, or as a set of matching (or deliberately mismatching) pieces for a crèche or nursery. Tell us how many you need and for what setting and we'll quote from there. Carvings, painted details, or a child's name can all be added.
Typical lead time is 4–5 weeks. Prices include VAT. Schools and nurseries can order by purchase order — we'll supply our VAT number, bank details and address for supplier registration.
