Storytelling Chairs for Schools

We have been designing and making storytelling chairs for two decades and across two continents, and they are one of our favourite things to make. We  love coming up with new designs  for our story chairs – be it developing a grander, more ornate version, or a lighter, more economical model – and the very wood that we use means that each and every chair is unique.

Some recent additions to our range of story tellers chairs are pictured here, such as the carved oak chair with its own hands and feet, and the magnificent driftwood throne that now reside at the Eden Project, as well as various examples of wording that can be used to add an extra personal touch.

Storytelling chairs are extremely popular with schools and outdoor education groups as they really capture the imagination of children and adults alike. Our chairs are suitable for use indoors and outdoors, and are equally at home in the school playground or garden as they are in the classroom or school hall.
