Bespoke engraved wooden business signs, CNC-engraved in solid oak with your logo and hand-finished in our workshop in Machynlleth, Mid Wales — for shops, cafés, pubs, studios and market stalls.
This sign was made for a local business in Machynlleth — a pop-up kitchen that wanted something as considered as the food they serve. The result is a house-shaped oak sign, precision-engraved with their logo and painted in deep charcoal, the natural wood showing through the raised design.
It's a good example of what we can do. The shape, the size, the finish, the design — all of it is open. We work from your artwork or brief and cut each sign in our workshop here in Machynlleth, Powys, from solid oak. Whether it's a business sign, a house name, a market stall board, a pub sign, or something entirely different, we can work with it.
The finish on this one is a painted charcoal ground with the engraved areas left natural, which gives a clean contrast and real depth. Oak takes this kind of finish beautifully — it's tough enough for outdoor use and looks better as it weathers.
