Eighteen push-to-open drawers, nine on each side, built into a solid oak frame without a handle in sight — the Cabin Storage Bed brings an architectural calm to the bedroom that goes far beyond ordinary storage solutions. Everything has its place, and the surface stays clean.
Built in the Free Range workshop in Wales from locally sourced oak, ply, and pine, this is a bed that earns its position as a permanent piece. The push-to-open drawers operate on smooth runners, each one sized generously enough to be genuinely useful. The overall aesthetic is contemporary and unfussy — the warmth of the natural grain doing all the decorative work. It's the kind of furniture that makes a small or crowded bedroom feel like it was designed, not just furnished.

Your Version
The cabin bed is fully bespoke — number of drawers, depth of the unit, timber choice, proportions. If you need more drawers on one side, a different height to fit a sloped ceiling, or a different timber for the frame, just ask. We'll give you a proper quote once we understand the brief. Typical lead time is 4–5 weeks, though a build this substantial may run a little longer — we'll always give an honest estimate.
Made to order in our Welsh workshop. Prices include VAT. Schools and educational establishments are welcome to order on account by purchase order.
