A compact bench in oak, jarrah driftwood and Welsh slate — three materials that sit in striking contrast, each one bringing what the others lack.
Jarrah is a Western Australian hardwood with a deep red-brown colour that sets off the pale gold of Welsh oak and the blue-grey of slate in a way that looks both deliberate and entirely natural. The three materials run in alternating strips across the seat, creating a striped effect that varies subtly with every piece. Originally designed to sit alongside the Slate and Oak Farmhouse Refectory Table, it works equally well on its own — as a kitchen stool, a hall bench, a conservatory seat, or a bedside piece.
The legs and frame are joined with solid hand-built joinery and finished with eco-friendly organic Danish oil, which enhances the natural character of each material without masking it. At 60cm wide and 40cm high this is a compact piece that earns its place in small spaces. Prices include VAT.
