Every fairy tree house we make is different, because every brief is different. Some are destined for a tree branch at the bottom of a garden. Others form part of a public fairy trail. We built a whole village of them for Studfold Farm in North Yorkshire — tucked into the trees along their fairy trail, each one unique, each one answering a different corner of the imagination. Wood-shingled roofs, painted doors, little shuttered windows, balconies, chimneys: the details are wherever the brief takes us. There are no limits except the size of the timber and the ambition of the commissioner.
Built from solid Larch or Douglas Fir — both naturally weather-resistant timbers chosen for their grain and their outdoor longevity. The finish is Epifanes matt varnish, three coats, which keeps the colour honest and the wood protected through rain, frost, and summer alike. Solid hand-built joinery throughout. These are built to last years in a tree, not weeks on a shelf.

Your Version
Tell us where it's going — tree, garden, public trail, school grounds — and we'll design around the setting. Painted doors, shingled roofs, opening windows, ladders, bridges between houses, nameboards, moss-effect finishes: everything is possible. Many clients order a set of three or four at once to create a village. We're happy to quote for any quantity.
Typical lead time is 4–5 weeks, though we're flexible if you have a deadline. Prices include VAT. Schools can order by purchase order — we'll supply our VAT number, bank details and address for supplier registration.
