There's something quietly magical about a piece of furniture that tells a story before you've even opened a drawer. These bedside cabinets were born out of a larger bespoke commission — a fantastical bed accompanied by two cabinets, each carved with its own character — and they carry that same spirit of craft and imagination.
Each cabinet is made from solid oak, with a generous open shelf at the top for your bedside essentials and a hinged cupboard below for tucking things away. The door is where the real personality lives: choose a swirling witch's hat with a feather quill, its curves flowing with wonderful hand-carved detail, or a serene Buddha seated in meditation on a lotus flower, calm and beautifully rendered in the grain of the oak.
Both designs are carved entirely by hand. The natural character of the wood — its grain, warmth, and texture — becomes part of the artwork itself. The rounded post legs and softly shaped shelf give the whole piece an organic feel that sits beautifully in a bedroom that values the handmade over the mass-produced.
