A bespoke two-seater oak bench commissioned by Laura as a first anniversary gift — featuring the lighthouse on the Welsh coast where she and Matt got married, with their names, wedding date and chosen inscription carved directly into the oak.
This is what bespoke means at Free Range: a conversation that starts with “where were you?” and ends with something that couldn’t have been made for anyone else. Laura wanted hearts, because she’d loved them on another of our pieces; she wanted the lighthouse, because it was the place; she wanted the date, 30.7.21, because it was the day. The brief was that simple, and it became a bench that two people will sit on in their garden for the rest of their lives.

The process is the same: we take what matters and we put it in oak. Two seater at 140cm wide, finished with three coats of Epifanes matt varnish for all-weather outdoor use. Prices include VAT.
