Handcrafted Viking furniture — thrones, chairs, benches and beds. This listing is the starting point for a Viking or Norse-inspired commission: the price shown is a typical carved oak Viking chair, and from here we can build anything from a single throne for a great hall or a wedding to a full set of longhouse furniture.
Everything is hand-carved in solid oak in our Mid Wales workshop. The vocabulary is the one you'd expect — dragon-head armrests, interlaced knotwork, runes, ravens, serpents, Yggdrasil — but every piece is drawn for the person ordering it, so your family's runes, a crest, a particular god or saga can be carved in. Pieces are finished with three coats of Epifanes matt varnish or left to silver naturally outdoors.
