A composting toilet and a shower in one handmade building — the Dual Composting Toilet and Shower Unit gives glamping sites, campsites, and eco retreats a complete off-grid bathroom in a single compact structure. Two cubicles side by side, one for the toilet and one for the shower, with a central changing area between them. Everything your guests need, nothing they don't.
Built in Wales from Douglas fir framing and cedar cladding, with a clear roof section that floods the interior with natural light. The same urine separator system used in all our composting toilets keeps the toilet side odour-free. The shower side is plumbed by your local registered plumber — compatible with wood-fired donkey boilers for a fully off-grid hot shower experience, or connected to any standard supply.
Key Features
- Complete outdoor bathroom in one building — composting toilet and shower in a single compact structure. Ideal for glamping pods, eco cabins, and remote campsite pitches.
- Natural light design — clear roof panels fill the interior with daylight, making both cubicles feel open and airy.
- Odour-free composting toilet — integrated urine separator as standard. No chemicals, no smell.
- Off-grid hot water compatible — works with wood-fired donkey boilers for a fully self-sufficient hot shower wherever you need it.
- Quality materials throughout — Douglas fir structure, vertical cedar cladding, built for years of outdoor use.
- Handmade in Wales — designed and built by our team to the same standard as every building in our range.

Who It's For
The Dual Composting Toilet and Shower Unit is the first choice for glamping sites wanting to give each pod or pitch its own private facilities, eco retreat centres, off-grid cabins, and campsites looking to upgrade their bathroom offering without mains infrastructure. If your guests are paying for a quality experience, this is the building that delivers it.
Delivery
Your compost toilet is delivered flat-pack on an oversized pallet by a national pallet courier, which is both cost-effective and included in the price.
Delivery is curbside — the driver will bring the pallet to the nearest point accessible by road, but won't cross fields or soft ground. Because the pallet is oversized, it can't be lowered on a tail lift and needs to be taken from the side of the lorry.
If you have access to a forklift or tractor, that's ideal — you can fork the pallet straight off and move it directly to your installation spot. If not, no problem at all: just have two people available on the day to help handball the panels down from the lorry. It's straightforward, and many of our customers manage without any machinery.
If you'd prefer a personal delivery and installation service, please get in touch to discuss.

Hi Suzanne and Paul,
I can't remember if we ever sent through any photos so here are some of our bathrooms in situ, we're now in our second year of glamping and it's all going amazingly well
Hello Suzanne and Paul,
It took a while but we’re finally open. There are photos of the loo on the Airbnb site
Very happy for you to use these if you wish (probably not the first as it’s a bit untidy!)
Very happy with the unit. And thank you for all your help and advice.
