Beech Driftwood Bed
(inc. VAT and UK shipping)
Description
The Beech Driftwood Bed is a fusion of natural forms and design integrity. Handpicked pieces of sea-smoothed driftwood combine with a solid headboard of beech wood, patterned with beautiful black spalting lines, to create a unique sleeping space that will form the centre piece of your bedroom.
Features:
- Natural Driftwood: Specially selected pieces of driftwood that we find along our local rivers and coast lines in West Wales form the posts of this bed, showcasing their natural textures and unique beauty.
- Spalted Beech Backboard: The backboard is made from a single piece of spalted beech, featuring unusual and beautiful patterning that adds character to the bed frame.
- Durable Construction: Built to last a lifetime, this bed frame is designed for easy assembly in your home. The headboard and tailboard are single solid pieces that join with the side lengths using traditional mortise and tenon joints, ensuring a solid and strong structure.
- Personalise Your Order: All our beds are bespoke and made to order, available in standard sizes or custom specifications. Contact us to discuss your ideas and create a bed that fits your unique needs.

FAQ
Everything you need to know about buying a bed from Free Range Designs
How are your beds delivered?
We design and construct all our beds in sections so that they can be easily transported and reassembled in your home. Delivery is on a pallet by pallet courier. The delivery company will deliver anywhere in the UK, and the delivery cost to mainland UK is included in the price.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
Yes, we do deliver our beds outside the UK, there will just be a delivery surcharge depending on your delivery address. If you are in Europe, we can get a quote from our normal pallet courier service. Please Contact Us with your delivery address. If you are overseas, we can deliver to any UK port for onward shipping to the US or elsewhere. You would need to organise the shipping but we can advise companies that previous customers have used successfully.
What is the lead time on having a bed made?
The lead time varies depending on how many other orders we have at the time you place yours. On average we will be able to make you a bed in around four weeks. If you need a quick delivery then please Contact Us and we will do our best to help.
I have an idea for my own dream bed. What's the design process?
We love working on new designs. If you are inspired by one of our beds, or have a completely different design in mind, Contact Us with your ideas. You can send us a drawing, photographs, or just a description as a starting point and we can do an initial sketch for your feedback. We then work together to get the design just right before we start to build.
