There's a reason storytellers have always gathered people around a log — it's grounded, unhurried, and puts everyone at the same level. These log seats take that idea and build it properly: solid Douglas Fir sections, shaped and finished to last outdoors through Welsh winters and beyond. They work beautifully arranged around a storytelling throne or fire circle, tucked along a path through a sensory garden, or scattered across a woodland school ground where children gather naturally.
Each log seat is shaped from solid Douglas Fir with a flattened top for comfortable sitting, sealed with Epifanes matt varnish — three coats — for outdoor durability. The finish is intentionally natural: the grain and character of the wood are the decoration. These are working seats built for daily use, not ornaments.

Your Version
Log seats can be made in a range of sizes and heights — shorter for younger children, taller for adults. A set of six around a central storytelling chair or fire pit creates a compelling outdoor classroom. We can also add simple carvings or a school name if you'd like something more personalised. Typical lead time is 4–5 weeks, though we're flexible if you have a deadline. Prices include VAT. Schools can order by purchase order — we'll supply our VAT number, bank details and address for supplier registration.
